Supernatural Cosmetics. Oooh, I feel so happy to have come across this fabulous luxury online brand! Sourcing only the best in natural, organic, even vegan beauty products, I’ve 100% found my new go to cosmetics site. Stocking my favourites Green People, some of the other brands I’ve heard of like Skin and Tonic and The Organic Pharmacy, I literally can’t wait to try some of their other brands I haven’t tried before!
What drives me to use organic products? It all came about when Emilia was little and a lot of what I put on her skin was irritating her. One of my lovely mum friends encouraged me to try ‘go organic’ and try Green People, a brand I’d read about before because of their fantastic sun care range. We’ve since used loads of their products, including bath and body care, anti ageing skin care on myself, we even use their toothpaste and my new go to lipstick is from there.
It’s really fab to know there is a website out there where you can buy all of these wonderful natural brands under ‘one roof’ so to speak. Until recently I hadn’t heard of such a site.
Supernatural Cosmetics sent me a Green People Lavender Body Wash and Shampoo to try on Emilia. We currently use their shampoo and conditioner and no joke, literally anyone who meets Emilia comments on her shiny curly locks almost immediately. So I already knew we were more than likely onto a winner with this two in one combination.
Emilia loves bubbles. But it’s hard to find natural products that bubble well without using SLS etc. This product bubbles up wonderfully in the bath and she loves playing with them and my blowing them from the palms of my hands onto her face and hair!
The scent is divine. Lavender. I didn’t used to be a fan, but over the last few years (probably having used lavender products to help send Emilia off to the land of nod!) Lavender has really grown on me. Excuse the pun. Each time we’ve used this product Emilia has gone off into peaceful sleep for the whole night without a single wake up. This is fantastic for all of us as recently Emilia was suffering night terrors. So to see the back of those is the best thing ever!
A little goes along way with this body wash. Just one squeeze on a sponge will cover all of Emilia and then I use the smallest dollop to wash her hair with. Her hair is left soft shiny and manageable, which as a parent of a curly haired child means less tears at hair brushing time.
All in all this is a great go to product if you’re looking for everything all in one. We’ll definitely be using it as a travel product for when we go away, which we seem to be doing a lot of just lately.
I was also gifted some skincare samples of skin rescue, oil and a cleanser to try out from Skin and Tonic and Nourish. So far from what I’ve tried has left my skin nourished and hydrated. Great news when all I’ve been doing is unpacking, washing my face and falling into bed these last few weeks. It feels good to finally think about a routine again and get my skin back on track.
I’ll definitely be shopping with Supernatural Cosmetics again in the future. Next on my list are some Mama treats! It would be brilliant to seek out some new organic hair care and make up.
In the next few weeks Supernatural will be holding a Twitter Q&A where I’ll be discussing blogging, our lifestyle and what I look for in skincare and other products. Keep a lookout by following the Twitter link below.
