On Wednesdays we craft… Or paint… Or make… It’s the first day of our week that we have together, as she’s at pre school the other days and usually without fail by about 7.30am (yes really) Emilia asks for her paints out!
However, last week we received some really cute stationery from Kikki. K and since then Emilia’s been all about the grown up stuff, pretend writing, list making, drawing in pencil rather than ‘colouring in’, organising and erasing!
Her new A5 Spiral Everyday Notebook in ‘Dots’ is now a secret book. She writes messages to her friends (obviously it’s still scribbles as she’s only three), her toys and Dr. Ranj, who she’s currently obsessed with. It makes a great school note book and I love the caption on the front: ‘BIG IDEAS HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE’. Such a sweet note for any little one with big ideas! The pages are lined and perforated, it also comes with a sticker sheet at the back, which is a great way to mark out any events/pages that need to stand out!
The Stationery Kit in ‘Dots’ is a handy, resealable pouch filled with stationery essentials such as pencils, bulldog clips, an eraser and a glue stick. Emilia loves the pink but grown up design with silver dots and actually enjoys tidying her bits and pieces away in it! Erasers are new to her so she’s enjoying rubbing out her ‘mistakes’ and the bulldog clips are a huge hit! There’s currently very little in my kitchen that doesn’t at some point get clamped and she loves the grown up looking glue stick. Much cooler than one with pink glue that she’s had prior.
I’m loving seeing Emilia grow up in so many ways, being organised and even having little chores to do are all things that she’s loving at the moment so this range is perfect for her. I can’t believe we haven’t come across Kikki. K before now! They have everything from wedding planning stationery to even travel bags and phone pouches. One of their diaries is next on my list because if my three year old is able to stay ‘organised’, then I really need to up my game!
