I have a bit of thing for changing bags. There I’ve said it! I’ve had my fair share of them and feel like I know exactly what I’m looking for. The type that look like a luxury handbag are my bag (excuse the pun!) and if it’s available in tan, well it’s a done deal. The Kym Leather Tan by Storksak is an absolutely stunning changing bag, both in looks and in practicality.
What I love about this bag that it packs a punch looks wise whilst also being understated. At face value you’d never think it’s a changing bag, it’s easily as stylish as a designer leather handbag. But when you open that zip and find out what’s going on inside, that’s where style meets practicality.
Inside you’ll find beautiful lining, and two side pockets which I’ve been using for bottles etc. There are seven internal pockets in total, great for everything from spare outfits, nappies, wipes and your phone, keys and purse.
The changing mat is gorgeous, really thick and luxurious, the bottle holder is the same, holding fluids and keeping them warm or cool for up to four hours.
On the outside there are three outer pockets, great for dummies and anything else small that you need close to hand. I pop any little mama essentials in them, like lip balm etc and if I’m not going far, I’ll pop my keys in them. There is a long detachable shoulder strap, which I’ve kept on to use on the pushchair handle.
Even the chunky zip and brushed brass hardware is lovely! You can also purchase a personalised tab to go on the front of your bag…
So far I’ve really enjoyed using this bag. I tried it out with Emilia’s things before Benjamin came along and it was great. Since our new arrival it’s been on a number of outings with us, I’ve always found things close to hand, easy to find and the bag has been a real pleasure to use. It looks pretty good on the pushchair too!
Also new this Spring from Storksak is the Organic Nursing Shawl in Grey Marl. It arrived in the most gorgeous box, the perfect purchase for a present to a mum to be (perfect to wear in pregnancy) or for a new mum! Designed as a nursing shawl, it can actually be worn a number of ways, as it comes with poppers so can be fastened for discreetness when feeding, but can then be opened and used as a scarf, cape, or poncho.
Made from soft GOTS certified organic cotton it feels absolutely beautiful to the touch, absolutely perfect to be used so close to your baby’s skin. Yet easy to care for as it’s fully machine washable. I love to wear it as a scarf and like it’s versatility as I can wear it as shawl to snuggle up to Benjamin in on our cosy days together at home.
